Field Rules
Rules are made to ensure that everyone has a fun, and safe time!
BASIC RULES
Staging Areas
Barrel Blocking Devices (barrel plugs) must be used at all times in safe areas. Barrels may not be detached from guns in these areas.
No firing, even dry firing, may be done in the staging areas.
Paintballs may not be thrown, or in any other way projected.
Players may not touch another person's property without their consent.
Only a Referee may put players on a team or change them to another team. Please talk to a referee if you have a team preference.
On the Field
Players must be at least twelve years of age. Players under the age of 10 must have a parent consent form signed prior to play. No player under the age of 10 is allowed on the field.
All players must submit a waiver, every visit.
Players must first register at the sign-up booth and listen to orientation before they may play. All players must do this, even if they are regular customers.
Players may not enter the field without a Referee.
Goggles must be worn at all times in the field.
Metal cleats are not allowed. Closed toe shoes must be worn.
Shooting speeds must be checked by a Referee before a paintball gun may be used for play. Our field speed is 260 f.p.s.. A chronograph, is used to measure the speed.
Players may not tamper with anything that has the capability of adjusting a gun's speed on the field. Tools may not be brought into a game. If the player's gun is malfunctioning, they must call themselves out if they can not fix it without risking a change in velocity.
Players must call themselves out when they have an obvious hit, unless the game rules state otherwise.
Once a player is out, they may not talk, argue, or in any way try to signal other players. Dead men don't talk.
Players must hold the paintball gun above their head when they are shot out but still on the field.
Blind firing is not allowed. This means that you must be able to see what you are shooting at.
No full-auto, reactive, or burst modes are allowed unless you have a whole group who has them. So, basically, they are not allowed.
If your group is playing with the Surrender Rule, players may not shoot each other at a range less than ten feet. This is not an option, it is a rule.
All players must abide by the Referee's directions.
Players must adhere to all rules of the game.
Everywhere
Fellow players and the Paint Wars staff must be treated with respect.
Absolutely no cursing is allowed.
Sportsmanlike conduct is required.
Paint Wars property must be treated with respect.
NO soliciting or loitering.
Paint Wars Enforces the Rules
If a player does not abide by the rules, they will sit out a game or be made to leave. No refunds are given.
Players will be asked to leave immediately for the following offenses:
Being Unsportsmanlike: This includes overly aggressive behavior, physically threatening & insulting others, disregarding a referee's instructions, cheating, not having the ability to follow the rules and throwing tantrums. Players like this are encouraged to take their money elsewhere. You ruin the fun for others.
This list of rules is not all inclusive. Anything that endangers people, prohibits fun or does not coincide with Paint Wars' objectives will be prohibited. We reserve the right to refuse service to those who exhibit any of the above actions.

A waiver of these terms must be signed prior to game play!
